Supply Chain is one of the largest functions in our businesses and covers everything - from field to fork: sourcing ingredients, manufacturing, planning and distribution. It is critical to the success of the business, which is why we put so much time and effort into developing our people and bringing in Graduates to be our future leaders. You will get what you put into our programmes and we expect hard work, energy and enthusiasm from the graduates we take on.The 18 month programme is made up of three placements within one Grocery business, in areas such as Operations, Technical and Food Safety, Health & Safety and Continuous Improvement. On our programme you will have a job with real responsibilities from day one. Graduates from this scheme have gone on to manage our manufacturing sites, lead large numbers of people on a factory shift and manage the Food Safety on a site.Our businesses and operations are extremely fast paced so you will need to be ready to adapt and react quickly. This means no two programmes or experiences are the same. Throughout the course of your programme you will attend core management and functional training, as well as having on-job coaching and mentoring. It is your role to drive your career in Supply Chain but you will be supported by us.ABF is a manufacturing business operating 24/7. Throughout your placements you may be required to work days, nights and weekends shifts. Please make sure you are comfortable with this before applying to the scheme.Placements will be in different locations across the UK, so you need to be flexible about where you are based during this time.
