The businesses within ABF Grocery have some of the most famous and loved brands in the UK. Our Marketing programme is quite different to a lot of schemes out there as you will join one business in September for your first year and then after 12 months move to another business with equally famous brands for your second year.We structure our programme like this so that you can get the most out of the opportunities that we can provide. Our businesses have very different consumers and target audiences and therefore they also have very different marketing strategies. On our programme you will learn double the amount you would normally as you will be working with different consumers and their habits and understanding ways that marketing departments go about maximising their market share.As a marketing graduate you will be involved with brand planning, digital, creative, online marketing as well as some advertising. In addition to the personal effectiveness training, you will also attend a number of functional courses to increase your skills and knowledge. We believe that you will learn the most by actually doing the job which is why you will be in a role that has real accountability and ownership of projects from day one. You will also get to spend some time out of the business to appreciate what your sales colleagues do and also a week in your Creative and Digital agencies to understand what agency work is like and how you work together.Placements will be in different locations across the UK, so you need to be flexible about where you are based and about moving during this time.
