You will need to be confident with numbers and spotting opportunities for growth.You will need to be able to build good relationships internally with Marketing and Supply Chain Managers, so that we have the best plans for our brands in customers as well as the best availability on shelf. You will also need to build strong relationship with customers so that we have the best joint business plans to drive our Categories forward.On the Scheme you will experience 2 different roles, each lasting 12 -18 months in different areas such as Field Sales, Category Management and National Accounts. Your first role off the scheme will also be facilitated, and over the course of these three roles you will work across two ABF Grocery Group businesses. This will give you a rounded view of what a career in sales looks like. You will be supported throughout by formal training programmes in areas such as negotiation, conceptual selling and account management.
