Ford needs exceptional Graduates to join their Ford Powertrain Operations Manufacturing Engineering team. This is your chance to become a member of a large (200+) professional Manufacturing Engineering community, working for one of the country’s leading automotive companies, building award winning engines, in world class facilities.

Global Impact:

The Ford Powertrain Operations Manufacturing Engineering team is truly global, so you will find yourself working with engineers across the world, but primarily throughout Europe. The work is challenging, interesting and varied and you may be required to travel to any Ford location worldwide, although the majority of travel by the group is European, with possible opportunities to travel to locations such as Valencia and Bordeaux. Our main UK locations are in Dunton, and Dagenham in Essex.

Graduate Manufacturing Engineering Programme:

As a graduate you will be placed into a real role, with real responsibilities from day one, to help you build on the knowledge and skills gained during your University degree. Joining us as a graduate, your first two placements within the Company will be managed by our personnel development committee. The objective of our Manufacturing Engineering graduate program is to enable you to gain exposure to a diverse mix of the work we do, and so broaden your knowledge and skills as widely as possible. The result will be you having the best grounding within Manufacturing Engineering to enable your future career to flourish.

Assembly Engineering

Manufacturing Engineering

Tooling Engineering

Gauge Engineering

Controls Engineering

Who we’re looking for:

To be part of our future, you will need:

A minimum 2:2 degree, in an Engineering, Science or Maths discipline

Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external customers and a strong team working ethos

An ability to communicate globally, clearly in writing, over the phone, and face-to-face

A high attention to detail and quality focus

Be highly motivated, have a pro-active approach and show willingness to learn
